Letter press ink on hand set letter press line print show cards
Each in an edition of 25
Each 26 x 17 inches
Printed by Tribune Showprint, which opened in 1878, and is the oldest, continuously operating poster print shop in the country. Tribune uses wooden type, set one letter at a time on Babcock flatbed presses, which are identical to those used by weekly newspapers in the 1800’s. The posters are printed on cheap, lightweight cardboard that have a beautiful visual appeal.
